Sidney Reed is a writer, showrunner, and producer working across feature film, TV, radio, audio drama, and stage. Her feature scripts span psychological horror, sci-fi, period romance, and drama — three previously optioned, with competition placements including Finalist at United Film Fest Los Angeles, Quarterfinalist at the Nashville Film Festival and Creative Screenwriting Short Screenplay Competition (twice), and a Diversity & Inclusion nomination at Fresh Voices.

 

Her speculative fiction audio drama Legion 16: First Watch, which she writes, directs, and produces entirely independently from Germany, is currently in its first season. A stage adaptation of her psychological horror feature The Family Tree opens in the upcoming theatre season, as does an adaptation of her short, Paranormal Pizza.

 

She rides the line over the things love leaves behind. Reed brings thirty years of professional writing across fiction, television, documentaries, advertisements, educational media, and technical writing to every project she takes on.
